A holiday in Como is always a great surprise, nice landscapes at the famous lake and the possibility to visit superb villas like Balbianello or Carlotta with a short boat ride, impressive churches, botanic gardens, but even a simple along side lake walk it is surely something to do. Agriturismo Calabria – La Calabrisella , Farm House Holidays May 19, 2008

La Calabrisella is a great “agriturismo”  located in Calabria Region (Italy) only 2 km away from Soverato, on the Ioniaon Sea.

“Agriturismo” is meant to be a farm house where to have a holiday in the country side and to do some naturalistic activities. In any case Being La Calabrisella located in Davoli Marina, it will be easy to access to the nearby beaches even in Soverato, Badolato, Montepaone , just to mention a few.

Taking a holiday to such a beautiful place not only gives you the opportunity to experience some unique activities , Horseback riding, bike excursions surrounded by great local flora and fauna, like fruits trees and domestic animals like cats, puppies and goats.

 

Thanks to its spacious areas our farm house can welcome Caravans and Campers, willing to stay over to enjoy one of the very typical product, unforgettable extra vergine olive oil, wines, pecorino cheese and the very known ‘nduja, probably the most typical product.

 

The building of La Calabrisella was originally a farmstead, and after renovation has maintained original stone walls, terracotta floors but has increased the beauty of this elements and returned a place also up to date with contemporary necessities and standars.

 

A special mention to the restaurant which offers typical Calabrian specialities, salami, cheese, meat , fresh local vegetables all prepared in an old-fashioned style recalling antiques regional flavours.

Lastly, keep in mind that there many interesting excursions can be done and visit many architectonic pieces of art, castles, columns, churches.
